Parts for Beauty IS a Beast!

Thank you everyone for participating in auditions yesterday!
I've gone back over the video of everyone's tryouts, and after re-arranging some of my first thoughts, here's what I've finalized for who has what parts.  There are still a few empty parts, so I'm working on getting them filled as well.

If you know anyone who would like to have a part, please let them know about it!  Rehearsals are Sundays 12:30 - 2 pm (Except Easter, Mother's Day and Memorial Day) And the play will be performed on Sunday, June 2nd in the evening.

Our first rehearsal is next Sunday the 24th, so please print and bring your scripts, if possible.  I will have some extras just in case.  :)  See you then!

Fun Times!

Well, I think everyone had fun participating in our Improv week last Sunday!  They sure seemed to, and everyone sure has a lot of energy and a good imagination!
We also practiced the Easter Skit, which we will do again on Saturday the 23rd and 30th at 6:30 pm.

Because.....

This Sunday the 17th is AUDITIONS for the big spring play (as I'm sure you all already know)  :)

We need at least 15 parts filled for this play (There are a few small parts for adults in this one!), so I'm hoping that the ad I placed in the Clamdigger will bring in some new faces!

If anyone wants to try out for a part in the spring play but can't be there on Sunday, please let me know!  We don't want you to be left out!

Just another reminder - the play will be performed on June 2nd!  Thank you all!  Have a great rest-of-the-week, and I hope to see you Sunday!

Parts for the Skit

Well - I forgot one very important thing in the last post!  I meant to include who was playing what parts so the actors can have a head start on Sunday's practice!  Sorry folks!  Here are the parts:

Trixie - Lukas
Plugs - Ethan
Bunny - Alyssa
Codger - Joshua
And I'll take the part of N.R. Jizer since a lot of the kids are going to be away for spring break.
Let's all start practicing so we'll know what we're doing on Sunday!  I'll be practicing too!  Thanks all you "rabbits"!  I'll see you soon!

Springtime!!

It's finally Spring weather!  And Club P.L.A.Y. has two things coming up~ the Easter Skit for Sunday the 31st, and Auditions for Beauty IS a Beast!

So, here's the rundown of events so we can all keep it straight what's happening when!

Sunday March 10 @ 12:30-2:00 -  practice for Easter Skit and fun Improv activity

Sunday March 17 @ 12:30 - 2:00 - auditions for Beauty IS a Beast

Saturday March 23 @ 6:30 - 7:30 pm - practice for Easter Skit

Sunday March 24 @ 12:30 - 2:00 - practice for Beauty IS a Beast

Saturday March 30 @ 6:30 - 7:30 pm - practice for Easter Skit

Sunday March 31 - Perform Easter Skit at 9:00 and 11:00 (no other practice)

Then in April we'll focus completely on Beauty IS a Beast!
Just a quick reminder, auditions for Beauty IS a Beast is open to all kids in the community age 8 and up, so kids, feel free to invite your friends to participate!

Thanks to the participants in "The Queen Loves Coffee"!  We performed it live at the soup kitchen celebration yesterday, March 3rd, but we also filmed it as a commercial!  Here is the link to see the filmed version, along with some fun bloopers! (You'll have to cut and paste)
